Travel and shipping
Although somebody has called Finland "The New Zealand of Europe", we
are nowadays well connected to continental Europe. Finland is a
member of the European Union. Customs formalities are easy even to
pilots from outside the EU.
Ferries
Note that summer is a holiday season so reservations should be
made well in advance.
Airports
If you want to fly to Räyskälä by your own
plane, the nearest airfields with the customs services are Helsinki-Malmi EFHF and Turku
EFTU.
Most airlines have flights to the Helsinki-Vantaa international
airport.
